Knitwear is a bit of an all-year-round feature in my wardrobe, being blessed with the beautiful Scottish weather and all, but it’s when the autumn rolls around that I really make the most of my collection. Colder weather is much easier to dress for in my opinion, and I absolutely love layering! This year I’ve actually got rid of a lot of my old tatty jumpers to make way for some new pieces and I’m so keen to actually look after them this time around, instead of letting them get in a near embarrassing state like my last lot. Handily, George at Asda have put together a little guide on taking care of your knits featuring little ol’ me and some other fab bloggers, so I’m now armed with plenty of tips to keep them looking as good as new!
Otherwise, life is pretty much the same. I’m a busy bee at the moment and, in all honesty, I’m very impressed that I’ve managed to keep up my blog as much as I have whilst settling in to the routine of college. I think I’m finally getting used to it and figuring out how best to work my new schedule. I’m still loving the course too, which is such a bonus.
I feel like September has gone by nearly as quickly as it arrived, and October is just around the corner. October will be another busy month, but there’s so many exciting things going on including a little week away in Croatia with Paddy and a trip down to Manchester with my mum too. A fair bit going on! I feel like as soon as October is out of the way it’ll be near enough full on Christmas mode, which is crazy to think about because last Christmas still feels like yesterday. I’m looking forward to it though, because my surgery last year kind of blighted my Christmas spirit, so I’m planning on getting totally stuck in this time around!
