Well, would you look at that, three outfit posts in one! How lucky are you, eh?
I love bodysuits right now, there’s just something about the way they look that I find myself drawn towards and so I’ve added quite a few to my wardrobe over the past few months. The latest addition comes in the form of this bronze metallic bodysuit from Dundee-based boutique Mandi Candi. I hadn’t heard of the brand before this, but ever since my first introduction I’ve been finding myself browsing the website every time I fancy a spot of shopping. Right now I’m desperately hoping for this mustard yellow biker jacket to come back into stock, as I think it would look absolutely gorgeous with this Hawaiian print playsuit.
Before I realised how versatile bodysuits are I was a little dubious as to how to style them, so in an attempt to be *informative* and *valuable* I thought I’d share three easy ways to wear a bodysuit, featuring some of my favourite wardrobe pieces at the moment.
I wasn’t joking when I said you’d be seeing a lot of these trousers. I can’t get enough of them, and find myself wanting to wear them pretty much every single day. I think they’re perfect for dressing up or down, and whenever I’m near a New Look I head in to hunt for the other colours too. I never thought I’d be a trouser kind of girl, but these have totally changed my mind.
Ankle boots wouldn’t normally be my first choice with cropped trousers, but there’s something about these faux suede bow ankle boots from Quiz that I can’t get enough of. I’m loving that it’s moving in to boots & tights weather, and I have my eye on these same boots in this beautiful grey colour too. I’m so excited to pair these with cute dresses in the winter!

For my second outfit, I thought I’d go back to my skirt-loving roots. I haven’t worn this black pleated midi in the longest time but I adore how the texture works alongside the metallic finish of the bodysuit. Paired with my go-to black heels when I need something easy to walk in, I thought this was a great evening look with a little bit of class.
Finally, a more casual look. I thought it might be a bit difficult to make a metallic bodysuit look “casual”, but when paired with my classic black jeans, trainers and my suede jacket I think it works pretty well. I’d been on the hunt for a suede jacket for a while and was very pleasantly surprised to find this one from George. It’s not on the website anymore, unfortunately, but it was only last month that I picked it up so it could be worth checking in store. I’ve included a couple of alternatives below, in case you can’t find it!
