Ever since my first HD Brows experience at Yuu Beauty Glasgow back in October I’d been hooked on the multi-pronged approach to taming unruly brows. I go through phases of loving my brows, as well as considerably longer phases of hating them. I feel like brows are the one thing I can’t quite nail when it comes to my daily face, as they so often end up looking like they don’t even belong together.
Much to my delight, High Definition have a training academy in Glasgow meaning that I can have my beloved HD Brows at a discounted price! A dream come true for someone who really needs to get their shopping habits under control. A couple of weeks ago I headed along to see the Glasgow Training Academy for myself as they were celebrating their first birthday and I was delighted to see that the HD Brows experience is all about quality and safety from the get go.
After my first time experiencing the High Definition make up, and having tried the Vamp Eyeshadow Palette by High Definition, I was really keen to try out some more of their beauty range. Having had my make up done with their products previously, I knew that the products would boast the same quality that the brand clearly strive to achieve with their treatments.
The High Definition Illuminator had really impressed me when I’d used it before, however it wasn’t until I was able to use it on a daily basis that I realised just how beautiful a product it really is. Lightweight, soft and blendable, this gorgeous Illuminator brings a real glow to the skin, without looking too harsh or glittery. It’s the perfect highlighter, and the slightly peachy tone really helps to give a wash of healthy colour to my pale skin.
If you’re going to try one product from the High Definition range then it has to be this. Beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe it! There can be a fair bit of fall out from the pan, which is something I’ve noticed across most of the range, however the product is far from chalky and applies like a dream.
Having revolutionised eyebrow treatments it comes as no surprise that High Definition offer a great range of brow products, with one of my favourites being the High Definition Browtec in Foxy. I’ve tried a lot of brow pencils in my time, but none have impressed me quite like this.
Whilst the shade is a little dark for me at the moment, this ultra-precise creamy pencil allows for super fine strokes so as to mimic real hair as closely as possible. Unlike other pencils I’ve tried, the waxy formula manages to hold the shape without being oily, meaning it can last all day without touch ups. It’s so easy to use, and a light hand means you can control the level of pigment transferred on to your skin.
