Bags are my thing – I just can’t resist a pretty bag – so it’s not really a surprise that I literally gasped when I first set my eyes on the Mia Grab Bag from Fiorelli. The structured shape is exactly the sort of style that I like, but the beautiful print adds more interest than my usual plain bags and makes it perfect for spring. Unlike the last addition to my bag collection it’s on the smaller side, however I’m finding it to be the perfect size to fit my daily essentials and discourages me from carrying a ridiculous amount of stuff around with me – much to my back’s delight! In true blogger style, one of my main concerns when choosing a new bag is being able to accommodate my SLR comfortably, which, despite it’s misconceiving size, this bag has no trouble with.
To really show off the stunning print I wanted to keep the rest of my outfit simple, opting for my usual beloved shades of grey and my trusty leather jacket. I’ve been wearing these ripped jeans near enough constantly for the past few weeks, as I love how they add a bit of interest to a relatively plain outfit.
If you hadn’t already noticed, I dyed my hair again… These photos make it look very warm toned which is what I was trying to avoid, but I think I’m just destined to spend my life slightly ginger. It was a bit of an impulse decision as shown in my weekly vlogs, but I fancied a change and I’m really enjoying having darker hair again!
The past couple of weeks have felt non-stop, but I’m starting to work out my new routine and have lots of exciting things on the horizon. As per usual, there will be lots of food coming up on Colours and Carousels over the next few weeks, but I have a few other things up my sleeve too. It’s nice to feel desperate to pour my heart in to a blog post again, it’s been a while since I felt this eager to write! Now I just need to find the time… Cutting down on the hours I put in to playing The Sims could be a start.
What’s your vice – bags or shoes? You can totally choose both, I would!
