Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator - £10.50 from Bee Good

When the cold weather rolls around I'm plagued with dry skin - horrible flaky patches included. Luckily I live in a really warm and mostly dry country so it's not that much of an issue for me... oh wait. Yeah, the Scottish weather can play havoc with my skin at the best of times but this miserable "summer" that we've been having has thrown my skin in to full on Winter mode.

I've mentioned so many times that facial exfoliators are a must have in my skincare routine and I have tried what feels like hundreds. I have exfoliators for my face, for my body, for both, ones that claim to tone and tighten, some for brightening and lots that promise baby soft skin with just one use. Not many of these deliver - hence why I have so many - but I've found one that does.

The first thing I noticed when trying out the Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator from Bee Good was the scent. It won't be to everyone's taste, but I think it's absolutely delicious. It's sweet, but not overpoweringly so, and also smells very natural. It's right up my street as far as my skincare goes! The scent doesn't hang around on the skin (much to my dismay) which means that even if it's not your cup of tea it shouldn't be too much of a deal-breaker. It's cruelty free and made without parabens in the UK, which is always nice to see.

The product itself is quite creamy in terms of an exfoliator and feels very softening on the skin. The exfoliating particles are quite small meaning that it can be quite gentle for the skin, however I use it with an exfoliating cloth to make sure I buff away all of my dry patches and clear out the dead skin cells. As expected my skin does feel a bit tight afterwards, but nothing that my usual moisturiser can't fix. It leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft which I think is due to the inclusion of Vitamin E (my skin just adores Vitamin E) and with continued use it definitely seems brighter. I find that this clears up any pesky dry patches really quickly without being too harsh on my sometimes sensitive skin - an ideal addition to my growing collection of exfoliators!

All in all I'm seriously impressed with my first product from Bee Good. It'll definitely be joining me in Turkey to help clear out all the pesky sun cream from my face! I've also been using Bee Good's Honey & Propolis cream cleanser as they kindly donated samples for the #ScotBlogMeet goody bags. So far I'm loving it, but I've not had a chance to properly test it out yet.

Have you ever tried anything from Bee Good? I'd love to hear your recommendations!
