I’ve mentioned a few times now that I’m trying to extend my wardrobe a tad with some slightly different options, so when I was given the chance to pick a piece from the British manufacturer & wholesaler Missi Clothing I decided to go for something a little bit out of my comfort zone. Being a bit of a bottom heavy girl (child bearing hips as my mum says) I tend to steer clear of bodycon and opt for styles that nip in at my waist then flare out over my hips as I feel a bit more balanced that way. I’m really impressed with the quality of this dress as the material is sturdy enough to hold everything in place whilst still being comfortable, ideal for someone who is partial to a big meal or two! You can find more from Missi Clothing on their website or you can follow them on Twitter & Facebook. Whilst I don’t think I’ll be going bodycon crazy from now on I am starting to feel a little bit more comfortable in them and maybe after a few more months at the gym they’ll start to claim a more prominent place in my wardrobe.
Despite this weekend being a holiday weekend I’m actually working more than normal (do bank holidays even exist in retail?!) however I do have the rest of the week off and I’m looking forward to catching up with my friends and getting some blogging done. I’m launching a new series on here very soon and it’s one that I’ve been playing with for a while now, so I’m really excited about sharing it with you all! Hopefully you guys will like it too, but you’ll just need to wait until tomorrow to see what it’s all about… *shameless plug*
There’s not long now until I finish university and I’m still waiting to hear back regarding my UCAS applications for other courses after the summer. It’s nerve-wracking but at the moment I think I’d be happy for it to go either way, a gap year might do me the world of good! I’m just fed up of waiting and I’d much rather know where I stand for September but we will just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed they get back to me soon!
I hope you’re all enjoying the holiday weekend and stuffing your faces with chocolate, I for one am very excited to get stuck in to my stash of Kinder Eggs! Have you been doing anything exciting over the weekend?
