Keeping Up With Colours and Carousels

I am one of those people that can be found on pretty much any social network at some point in my life. Having grown up with the internet I started out on AOL Messenger to chat to my best pal across the road, swiftly moving on to the likes of MSN, Windows Live Spaces, Bebo & Piczo to name a few. Many a year ago I had a LiveJournal, I’ve had various Tumblr accounts and I even gave MySpace a go for a week or two…

Here are some of the places you can find me now, should you fancy seeing even more of my inane ramblings:

BLOGLOVIN – one of the easiest ways to keep up to date with my posts is by clicking that wee follow button over on Bloglovin. This way, all of my latest and greatest pieces will appear right in your feed and you can read them at your leisure! Using the Bloglovin app is also handy for reading on the go too, so if you read a lot on your commute then it’s worth trying it out.

TWITTER – I think Twitter and I have had the longest love affair out of my various social network profiles, having been coupled together for many years now. If you want to see me post really exciting updates about what I’m having for lunch or how long I’m planning on playing The Sims for that day then this is the place to be.

YOUTUBE – YouTube and I are currently in the honeymoon phase, having recently reignited our love just under a month ago. I used to post the odd haul on my channel in a rather sporadic manner, however at the moment I’ve been posting a video every single week and am having the time of my life. If you’re interested in putting a voice to the words then get yourself over to my channel… and maybe throw all expectations of your typical Scottish accent out of the window.

INSTAGRAM – If you’ve ever felt like I don’t talk about my cat quite enough then you really need to be following me over on Instagram. From pretty sunsets to adorable animals (and maybe the odd selfie) my Instagram account is a little insight to the stuff that happens in my life but doesn’t always make it on to the blog.

PINTEREST – Aaaah. Pinterest. The black hole of procrastination. If cupcakes, nail art and pretty interiors are your thing then I’m sure you’re already aware of the wonders of Pinterest! I can be found pinning away pretty much every single day and have boards relating to everything from Clueless to penguins… It’s a bit of an eclectic mix!

FACEBOOK – I have a bit of a tumultuous relationship with Facebook, but if you enjoy seeing bits and bobs from your favourite blogs in your news feed (if the algorithm ever allows my posts to actually be seen that is) then head on over and click the little ‘like’ button. Every so often I’ll post the odd sneak peek or “bonus content”… when I get round to it that is.

GOODREADS – One for the bookish babes, Goodreads is the best way to keep up with what I’m reading (or not reading) in real time. You can see what I’ve read, what I want to read and how crap I am at the quizzes as well as recommending some books you think might tickle my fancy.

LINKEDIN – Not quite as exciting as the likes of Twitter and Instagram, but if you fancy connecting over on LinkedIn then pop a request my way!

Are you a bit of a social networking junkie? What’s your favourite platform?
