|Dress – Hollister (it’s the only Hollister item I own please don’t disown me)
Cardigan – very very very old school New Look
Primark Super Cosy tights aka the best invention ever
I’m not your typical ‘Hollister’ girl, but when I saw this dress in store in June time I knew I had to have it. I was torn between this turquoise colour or the green version but decided turquoise was more my colour. Luckily, my constant inner turmoil over the price (it was originally about £60) meant that by the time I decided to buy it had ended up in the sale! Love moments like that. I wore it quite a lot on holiday, it’s definitely more of a summer dress, but I couldn’t resist pairing it with some super thick tights and a cardi when I went on a little double date when my boyfriend visited Aberdeen over the weekend. I actually had such a good night, spending my first proper weekend in Aberdeen wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
At the moment it’s the longest I’ve been away from home so I can feel the homesickness creeping up on me again, but I’m back this weekend for one of my best friend’s 18th birthday and I can’t wait! My dad ended up being in Aberdeen last night so I got to have dinner with him which was a nice surprise. I have a couple of job interviews this week including one tonight which I’m really excited, but nervous, for so fingers crossed something will come of them. It is looking like I’ll need to spend my Christmas in Aberdeen at the moment which is a bit sad but I’m sure it’ll be fine. It’ll probably be worth it to get some more work experience and money to spend! I’m having some serious withdrawal symptoms from shopping right now, and being in a class full of very fashionable people just makes me want to shop even more.
