|Meow by Katy Perry – Lush Snow Fairy – John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Styling Spray
Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in 01 – Collection Lasting Perfection concealer – Simple light moisturiser – Simple Toner
I think everyone has those products that they just revert back to time and time again or stock up on when they’re on offer. These are just a few of my ‘staples’ when it comes to beauty – they’re some of my most trusted products that I’ll stick to for the foreseeable future.
Meow by Katy Perry is one of my favourite perfumes which I find myself mentioning time and time again. My boyfriend got me it for my birthday two years ago and I soon fell in love. Not long after it ended up being something ridiculous like a tenner in Boots so I bought another two bottles. I’ve since finished one – it’s pretty rare for me to finish a perfume!
Snow Fairy is one of my favourite Lush products which again I have mentioned numerous times. I stock up on it every Christmas so that I don’t have to go without during the summer months! At the moment I have two small bottles at home then a small bottle and a medium bottle at university… it just smells too good.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Styling Spray is a bit of a mouthful. If you’ve ever watched any of my Paperbacks & Beauty Facts videos (which I’ve been severely lacking on lately – sorry!) then you will have probably heard me rave about this. It tends to be on 3 for £10 in bigger Tesco stores so I pretty much always pick up three bottles when I’m in unless I need a new shampoo & conditioner too. It’s also handy to have so many of these because I’m forever losing the lids so if I need to stick one in my bag for travelling I have a spare lid to try and reduce any leakage!
Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in 01 is my perfect red lipstick. Being totally honest, this didn’t actually start as a bulk beauty purchase. When I bought my first one of this shade the lipstick was all smashed up so Rimmel very kindly sent me three to apologise. I stupidly gave two of them away to people as I thought I’d never wear it, however I ended up buying another two as I think that when you find your perfect red lip it’s a good idea to buy a couple just in case they disappear from circulation.
Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is a pretty standard product in any blogger’s make up bag. It’s the best concealer I’ve ever tried and a total bargain. I only started using these in the summer (WHAT) but as soon as I tried it I knew I had to get my hands on some more – especially as my local Boots seem to have a lack in my shade.
I’m a massive fan of Simple products and the Simple light moisturiser & toner are no different. I’m lucky in that despite having a bit of trouble with spots in my early teens my skin has cleared up pretty well after using the Simple range and now Simple is more than enough to keep my skin in tip top condition.
Some of my other staples include Boots Coconut & Almond leave in conditioner, Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover and Avon Advance Techniques Argan Oil but at the moment I split my collection between home and university so that I have some at both… it felt a bit stupid including them in my ‘bulk beauty buys’ when I really only have one to photograph!
Do you have any beauty products that you buy in bulk? Right now I’m so glad I’ve stocked up on these as I’m starting to run out and so is my student budget…
