Say whaaaaat, two outfit posts in three days? Granted they’ve not been the most exciting, I think the best way to describe my default style is ‘simple’. Then again, you can’t beat a LBD and this one from H&M is perfect. It’s versatile, flattering AND effortlessly stylish. Perfect for my lazy I DON’T WANT TO GET READY days. Throw on a pretty necklace, some concealer and a slick of bright lipstick (I’m loving this one at the moment) and you look pretty put together without all that much effort.
This was my outfit on Saturday night when I went for dinner at the local Italian with my boyfriend’s family which was a lovely evening. I’m planning on having a slightly more productive week as I’ve been a bit lazy since my birthday, I’ve got lots planned in life and blogging so I’m feeling quite motivated! Coloursandcarousels is having a make over as we speak so keep an eye out for that. I’ve been working with the incredibly talented Grace and it’s looking very pretty so far. The sewing machine will hopefully be making an appearance this week as I’m determined to get stuck in with that, whilst reading some of my books and starting the dreaded packing process. I’m in two minds about moving right now, some days I’m absolutely petrified and want to cry at the mere mention of Aberdeen or university but then others I can’t control my excitement for my fresh start and brand new experiences. It’s a scary thing, but it’s part of growing up.
I’m obsessed with Katy Perry’s new tune – Roar – which I’ve had on repeat for a week now and I’m not sick of yet. There’s no denying she’s still got it.
