Neutrogena Visibly Clear Face Wash & Moisturiser

Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Moisturiser (RRP £4.99) and Facial Wash (RRP £4.89)
both from Superdrug for £4.99 altogether

One of my favourite scents has to be pink grapefruit, it’s so sweet but tangy and smells beautifully fresh. The Body Shop do a fantastic range of pink grapefruit scented products and I’m a massive fan of their scrub and body butter. For face wash and moisturiser I tend to stick to Simple as it’s worked wonders for my skin in the past but recently my skin has been an absolute nightmare for no apparent reason so I decided to mix up my routine.
I’ve always been drawn to the Neutrogena pink grapefruit range but been slightly put off by the price as it’s a bit more than I’d like to pay for a drugstore face wash but I was browsing Superdrug earlier this week and noticed that it was on 2 for £4.99 which is basically buy one get one free.
On first impressions I was slightly disappointed by the size of the moisturiser, I was definitely expecting a bigger tube! I’ve been using it twice a day for about a week now and I’m not entirely blown away but I do like it. The face wash doesn’t leave my skin dry and tight like others sometimes can and it definitely does a good job of getting the last few traces of make up off (although I’ve been trying not to wear any this week to try help my skin) which is a plus. The moisturiser seems quite basic so far, it does leave the majority of my skin nice and soft but it’s not been much of a help for my really dry patches so far. A big issue for me with this moisturiser is that I feel like I’m using a lot more of the product than I would need to with other moisturisers and seeing as it’s quite a small tube I’m worried it’s going to run out quite soon. The scent does linger for a good few hours, which some people may not like, but is another pro for me, Like I said, I’ve only really been using it for a week but I’m noticing a slight difference in my skin so I’m hoping that with continued use – alongside a few face masks – I might finally get it back to normal!

Have you used anything from this range, how did you feel about it? Also, any other skin saviours that I should try out in an attempt to rescue my poor face?

Lots of love,
