Set my body on fire so I could be free

This is a terrible photo, I know. I literally took hundreds and this was the only one that looked semi-decent, damn dull weather! T-shirt – Miss Selfridge, denim shirt – vintage, velvet leggings – Miss Selfridge

Hello! I have some increeeedibly exciting news that I’m so happy to share with you lovely lot!
So. This year is my final year of high school, as I have mentioned previously, and I’ve been applying to numerous universities then obsessively checking my e-mails for progress. I think I’ve told you all that my first choice was Robert Gordon University up in Aberdeen to study Fashion Management aaaaand – I GOT IN! I found out on Tuesday night that they had decided to give me an unconditional offer for the course and I very hastily accepted. It’s all very exciting & incredibly nerve wracking but come September I will be packing up my belongings and moving up to Aberdeen. I feel far too young for this! I’m so relieved I don’t need to worry about results this year. If you’re applying to colleges/university I wish you the best of luck – it’s such a stressful experience!

At the moment I’m in the middle of my prelims but I’m lucky enough to have a few spare days of study leave to enjoy. I’ve been spending lots of time watching House (as predicted) and cuddling my old grumpy cat who’s missing his little brother, poor boy. This weekend I’m off to peruse the wonders of Glasgow’s West End with my mum who got lots of vouchers to spend for her big birthday last week! I’ve been so disappointed with the shops lately which is doing wonders for my bank balance, but havoc for my shopping obsession. Hopefully I’ll find a few little gems in the charity shops.

Lots of love,
