Despite my love of a good ol' beauty bargain, I hadn't had much experience with Natural Collection until I decided to pick up a blusher on a whim back in March. At the time I picked up the shade Peach Melba which is a very natural, subtle glow and the slightly warm tone suits my skin like a dream. It adds the perfect wash of colour to my cheeks and really helps bring a bit of life back to my pale skin, so at a mere £1.99 I was hooked. Since then I've started building up quite the stash of pieces from Natural Collection in an attempt to investigate the brand more, and so far I'm liking what I've found...

As a pale girl I'm always painfully aware of the lack of cool-enough-for-a-ghost tones from the more affordable drugstore base products, usually having to spend a little bit more to properly match my skin shade, so I was a little bit worried about the Pressed Powder in "Warm", especially after seeing how warm toned the tiny little shade image was on the Boots website. Luckily, it's actually a pretty decent match for my skin and the slight shimmer means that it removes excess shine without making the skin look flat or dull.

I had similar concerns about the Tinted Moisturiser, however these were a little bit more founded. The lightest shade, "natural", is a bit too dark for my current skin tone but not by much. I usually find tinted moisturisers to be a bit too washy to play any useful part in my make up collection, but I've been using this for a weightless base for the duration of the surprisingly warm weather we've been having and it's been ideal for those days where the air-con just isn't cutting it, or breaks entirely. Despite being super light and fresh on the skin, it still provides a decent bit of coverage which is ideal for my good skin days. Just a shame about the lack of shades available, but for £1.99 I think I can let it slide...

I've already raved about the blushers in this post, but I was really glad to discover that my love for Peach Melba wasn't just a fluke. Since trying the Blushed Cheeks in "Pink Cloud" I've come to realise that maybe I *can* pull off pink blusher after all. I've been taking tentative steps in to the world of blusher over the past few months as it's a product that my naturally rosy cheeks had me practically running away from in previous days, but knowing that I can get a decent blusher for less than £2 has me itching to stock up on new shades to try.

Bronzer is another thing I tend to steer clear of unless I'm on sunnier shores, especially those packed with shimmer, but I'm kind of surprised by how much I like the Suntint Bronzing Powder in Golden Glow. A massive factor in this is how creamy and blendable it is, making it super easy to apply and work in to the skin. I'm still finding the shimmer very intimidating as it certainly packs a punch. I think it would be perfect for a summer special occasion when I'm feeling a little bit more like a bronzed goddess as opposed to ghoulishly pasty...

At just £1.99 each it's hard to deny these are absolutely beauty bargains! Check out more from Natural Collection at Boots and let me know your favourite recent drugstore discovery in the comments too!
