Much like my ASOS Spring Edit, I'm still loving blush and neutral tones as we move in to summer. As someone who lives pretty much predominantly in grey, black or white there's something appealing about the new neutral and it's ability to be both subtle and fresh. Pared with white, cream, tan and obviously grey I think there'll be a lot of this colour working it's way in to my wardrobe throughout the season and probably across the rest of the year too.
At the other end of the scale, however, I'm also trying to step outside of my comfort zone and introduce a bit more colour in to my wardrobe. I'm really loving bold brick reds, fiery oranges and sunshine yellows to brighten up my typically dull colour palette. How pretty are the red lace up pointed flats? I think they could pep up even the most boring of ensembles. Bold brights have got me dreaming of wandering around little beach towns on some lovely sunny island, sipping on cocktails and grabbing dinner by the sea.

And finally, in a return to more typical programming, the monochrome. In summer my near-exclusively black wardrobe isn't necessarily the most appropriate - despite the history of miserable summers in Scotland - so I think that moving in to more white-based pieces is an easier way for me to brighten up my standard outfit choices. I'm determined to find the perfect pair of culottes this year, which recent shopping trips have proved to be one hell of a task, but I know they must be out there some where.
