As a beauty lover on a budget Christmas is the perfect time to top up my collection without breaking the bank, as I'm sure many fellow bloggers can appreciate. Not everyone is as clued up as a beauty blogger when it comes to Christmas pamper treats, so I thought I'd share a few of my fail safe bath & body gift ideas for the beauty lover in your life.
When it comes to bath time I have a pretty set routine that never fails to leave me feeling chilled, such as running a roasting hot bath packed to the brim with bubbles. One thing that will never change about my evening routine on any given night is my love for changing in to my pyjamas (preferably after they've been left on the radiator) and when I spotted this slogan night shirt from New Look it was a near instantaneous addition to my wishlist. It completely sums me up, and looks like it would be great to throw on with some cosy slippers and my big fluffy dressing gown.
Another part of my pamper routine that won't be changing in a hurry is my candle obsession. To be fair, I usually have candles burning all day long, but I do keep a few purely for stress busting at bath time. I think the offerings from Flamingo Candles are such great value for money, with an incredibly powerful scent and a long burn time. The Rose & Marshmallow scent is one of my all time favourites, but I think that Blackcurrant High Tea and the festive Cinnamon Sticks scents both sound gorgeous too.
Electrical goods are maybe not the most bath friendly gift, but one thing I most definitely need this Christmas is a new hairdryer. I've heard wonderful things about the GHD Air, and whilst the price tag makes me cringe a little a good hairdryer is apparently worth the investment for taming unruly curls like mine.
Having never tried a facial brush before I didn't quite see what all the fuss was about, but after the Magnitone Full Monty was introduced in to my routine a couple of weeks ago I don't know why I ever doubted it. A 4-in-1 cleanser, toner, buffer and exfoliator it has worked wonders on my drier out winter skin and I cannot stop raving about it! It's waterproof, so great for in the shower or bath, and the wireless USB charging cradle makes it so easy to travel with. Pricey, but entirely worth it.
Soap & Glory just consistently win at Christmas smellies, don't they? Year after year I find myself fawning over their gift sets, and this year is no different. Sugar Crush is my absolute favourite scent from the range, so the Get A Smooth On kit is right up my street, but I'm also struggling to resist the adorable packaging of the Poptastic gift set - how cute is that case?!
It wouldn't be Christmas without an appearance from Lush, and I have a few firm favourites worth mentioning. In my opinion, pamper nights are nothing without bubbles, so the Pink Flamingo, Magic Wand and Magic Of Christmas bubble wands are definitely on my Christmas list this year. I've been obsessed with The Comforter shower cream since it was released earlier in the year and certainly wouldn't mind adding one of the bigger bottles to my stash, and Dream Cream is a Winter skin saviour in my eyes.
What beauty buys are on your Christmas list this year?
