This month was an absolute no-brainer when it came to picking my favourites. In fact, for the majority of these items I knew that they would be making an appearance from their very first use! It's not often that happens, so I think it's safe to say that this bunch must be pretty special indeed. If you watched my latest haul video then you'll have seen most of these already, but here's a quick run down of what I've loved this month...
In a nice little coincidence one of my favourite people, Lis, gave me one of my favourite things this month. She recently took a trip over the pond and, being the kind hearted soul she is, brought me back a few treats. In all fairness, if I hadn't already finished the birthday cake gum and the cat socks weren't in the wash, they would be in here too, but I'm seriously surprised that I haven't completely emptied the Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitiser already. It smells incredible, so obviously I use it all the time. Is it weird to walk around sniffing your hands?
I feel like I've barely stopped raving about the "Fleur Loves" lashes from FleurDeForce's Eylure collaboration since I first picked them up, but I've never loved lashes in this way before. With a lightweight, three-quarter length band these lashes are ridiculously easy to apply and just as easy to forget that you're wearing. I'm by no means a false lash expert, but these bad boys are an absolute dream and have totally converted me. They're pretty natural looking, but still add volume and length. Ideal, really!
When I first bought the Real Techniques Setting Brush I had intended for it to be used to set my undereye concealer, but after noticing that the packaging mentioned it working well for highlighter I decided to give it a go. Oh my god, it did not lie. I don't think I've ever been as obsessed with highlighter as I am now! This brush gives a perfect diffusion of product, resulting in a soft and glowing finish that I just cannot get enough of. Usually, I love a matte look at this time of year, but instead I'm all about that glow.
I'm having to take a break from my religious love of gels for a while, so I've been delving back in to my somewhat ridiculous nail polish collection. The Models Own Twilight Hypergel in Deep Sea is the perfect super glossy winter twist on my love of teal, with the gel like finish that I love so dearly.
A while back, Erica touted the Kate Moss for Rimmel London lipstick in 104 as "the perfect nude" in one of her Happy Things posts, so when I spotted it in a beauty outlet for a mere pound I figured it was worth a shot. She was so right. It's the most gorgeous colour, perfect for everyday, and is yet another one from the collection that I love. I find the finish of these lipsticks to be one of the best on the highstreet, so own far too many. Honestly, if you're disillusioned with drugstore lipsticks, try one of these.
Now, I have a habit of saving the best for last. This Tu Dressing Gown hasn't been in my life for very long, but it's barely left my body since. The gorgeous dusky purple is just the most perfect shade and the super soft fleece lining has been a dream on the dull, dreary day's that Glasgow has been blessed with recently. I would wear it outside of the house if it was socially acceptable, and now that I've realised it's on sale I'm thinking about buying another just in case. Fleece lining is the way forward, take note.
What have you been loving this month?
