OUTFIT: Livin' it up in the city

Playsuit - Missguided
Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell
I went on an actual night out this week - which is a rarity for me nowadays. As much as I love getting dolled up and dancing I'm not the biggest fan of spluttering the little spare money I have on a hangover and sore feet! But seeing as it's Christmas time I was definitely in the mood for dancing the night away with the lovely girls from my course.

I borrowed this playsuit from my flatmate Eilidh and I'm kind of in love with it. It's not something I'd usually go for as playsuits aren't always the most flattering for my bod shape but there was something about this one that I just liked a lot. It's very low cut so a few safety pins were involved too! My shoes were a present a few years ago and I love them, they're reserved for special occasions but they always make me feel super duper fancy when I wear them.

My last deadline before Christmas was yesterday, which was a relief. There's still two more reports and an exam between now and the end of the semester in January but I'll deal with them when the time comes. I'm back home for Christmas now which would be amazing if I wasn't working every single day... Hurry up payday! I cannot believe that it's Christmas in less than a week. I'm so excited. And also stressed out about how much wrapping I need to do...

How has your week been? Are you excited for Christmas?

It means so much to me that people take the time to comment, and I really appreciate each and every one. I try to reply to all of them but I am pretty forgetful, so if you have a burning question that you would like me to answer please drop me a tweet @colourscarousel or email me!
