LIFE: Room Tour

It's been a month and a half since I moved in to my new flat and I haven't really shared too much of it yet! Now that the clocks have turned and the daylight hours are disappearing I figured it was better late than never to share a few little snaps from my new bedroom. It's not perfect yet, but I really love it. It's pretty cosy with all my candles - something I seriously missed when I was in halls - and I have plenty of space for all of my clothes too! I think I've managed to make it feel like home and look pretty without being a total Ikea showroom at the same time. Asda's home section is on point right now!

You may have noticed that Colours & Carousels has had a little sprucing up, with an adorable new header thanks to Lauren from OhHay and some other little touches here and there. It's not a major overhaul but I am in love with it. Lauren is seriously talented and I'm so happy that I got the chance to work with her! I feel like my header encompasses what Colours & Carousels is all about, including my baby boy Ginger. It's funny how a few changes to a layout can create a total burst of motivation when it comes to blogging! If only it would motivate me to get on with my university work too... I'll get there eventually.

Over the weekend I was given my rota for the run up to Christmas and it's pretty mental to say the least. It's going to be a struggle to balance work, university and blogging but hopefully I can keep on top of it all! I'm sure I'll be moaning all the way in to the new year but it will abruptly stop when pay day comes around.

It means so much to me that people take the time to comment, and I really appreciate each and every one. I try to reply to all of them but I am pretty forgetful, so if you have a burning question that you would like me to answer please drop me a tweet @colourscarousel or email me!
