University Room Tour

Soooo this is my new room! It's pretty nice, and a lot bigger than I had expected it to be. I'm loving having a double bed and an ensuite all to myself. I've still got a few bits and bobs to put up like photos and things on my pin board and some posters on my walls but I'm quite happy with how it's looking right now. It's definitely starting to feel a bit more homely! I put up my own curtains which make the room feel very pink but they're a lot better at keeping the light out than the awful flimsy curtain that was there originally. The only downside right now is that I still haven't got my wifi sorted! Hell on earth for someone as addicted to social media as I am. I'm in the process of trying to sort it out or just get a longer ethernet cable so I can watch Netflix in bed but for now I'm coping without. I'm only about a ten minute walk from the city centre, probably less but I like to dawdle, so it's pretty handy for my bus stop and of course all of the shops. It's about a 30 minute walk to the beach but the day I went I was walking very slowly and probably went a complicated way, it's nice to know that I have it so close by though.

It's already a total mess compared to these pictures... but that's to be expected from me!

  3. ohh how exciting at uni in a brand new room! :) Yours is a LOT nicer than mine was when I was at uni, mine was like a prison cell that no amount of accessories could conceal lol. I love the white Ikea cutout pots, I have so many of them dotted around holding different things x

I also like your curtains, I couldn't be bothered to change mine last year, they were a minging brown colour but literally let no light in!
