Birthday Wishlist

It's getting towards my favourite time of year again, only 3 days to go! I've actually already had my main birthday presents off of my parents - two for my holidays and one for my party - so this is more of a 'what I intend to buy after my birthday' list.
As I said yesterday, I'm currently lusting over various flatforms and the two pairs here are my absolute favourites. I've wanted a plain black pair for quite a while and these Boohoo ones are perfect, I did consider the River Island pair but I've heard a few complaints about them and these are half the price. I spotted the trainer-like pair when I was in Office drooling (not literally) over the Jeffrey Campbells and knew I had to have them. I don't own many pairs of trainers, but the colours in this pair are beautiful and the platforms will give me a bit of height! My only issue is that they don't come smaller than a size 5 which are a tad too roomy for me :( I have the dress in a pinky-red colour that I love, but this peach colour is stunning and very girly! Plus the watch will go perfectly with it.
I'm all for the replica Litas, but I was planning on buying the original JC's when I noticed this pair in River Island, I love a good aztec print and these shoes are amazing. They have a plain black leather pair, but at £85 I would prefer to buy the real deal however you can't get JC's in the aztec print so that's my excuse!

Today I'm finally tackling the mountain of clothes that have overtaken my floor and having a bit of a clear out of my wardrobe, then hopefully I'll get some outfit photos once I have cleared space! I've been spending quite a lot on clothes lately, but my justification was that it was for my holidays... Ah well, a girl can never have enough clothes!

Summer's in the air and baby heaven's in your eyes

My 10 days in Greece was jam packed with beautiful views, amazing weather, delicious food and fantastic sunsets every evening. It was also full of massive mosquito bites, but that was the only downside. We were staying in the gorgeous little town of Acharavi on the island of Corfu, right by the beach and close to lots of attractions. The beach itself was shingles, but after enduring a few metres of painful pebbles the water is crystal clear and gorgeous soft sand underfoot.
Now I'm back at home and yearning for the hot weather, England may be having a heatwave but Scotland is definitely not! I have one last little 'holiday' to Manchester this summer then in the middle of August I start my last year at high school - scary stuff. I get my exam results in just under two weeks which I'm surprisingly not worried about, the last school year was pretty much a write off for me due to illness but I worked my butt off when it came to exams so I'm just proud of myself for managing to sit them considering that a few months before I'd been advised to take the rest of the year out!
I'm currently drooling over various pairs of flatforms that I plan to buy with my birthday money, I think they may possibly be my new obsession. Shoes are a definite guilty pleasure of mine, but I am convinced that my already tiny feet are shrinking!
Meanwhile, I'm off to remove a pesky fly from my room and watch Coco Before Chanel - got to love Tivo!

xoxo

Party Like It's My Birthday

Dress - TFNC London via Topshop
Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell via Office
Hellooooooo! It's been almost a month since I posted last so now I have a bit of time I decided to get back in to the swing of things. This coming Sunday (29th) I celebrate my 17th birthday, however last Sunday I celebrated it early with my friends. I wore this gorgeous dress that I fell in love with in Topshop, it's a kind of velvet snakeskin material and I love it. Everything about my birthday this year has been early, I've already had the majority of my presents which I'll do a post about after my actual birthday!

So, my holiday in Corfu was amazing. We went during a Greek heatwave and the temperature was hitting upwards of 38c! I've come back slightly browner and constantly craving Greek food, luckily it's mostly Greek salad so nothing too unhealthy. At the moment my eating habits are ridiculous so I'm gearing myself up for a health kick - that will probably last about two or three days.

Since coming home I've spent a fair majority of my time in the cinema, one of my favourite places to be. My cinema-going habits are luckily funded by my fantastic Cineworld Unlimited card which is one of the best things I own, considering the current price of cinema tickets. So far this month I've seen The Five Year Engagement, The Amazing Spiderman, Katy Perry - Part Of Me (which I'm going to see again tomorrow) and The Dark Knight Rises. TDKR was an absolutely amazing film, it definitely lived up to all the hype! I'm planning on going to see Magic Mike with my friends on my actual birthday, nothing wrong with a bit of eye candy to celebrate my 17th!

I'm having a bit of a lazy day today, so I'm going to go photograph some posts and try get them written up! Hopefully this will finally get me back in to the swing of blogging.

So that was a loooooong post! But I realised my scheduled posts had mysteriously deleted themselves and I don't have time to get any other posts written up before I jet off to Corfu, so sadly this will be my last post for a couple of weeks. I'm finished school for summer now and it's been super busy already, but over the next few weeks it gets even busier! On Friday I'm off to Corfu with the family, then I have my birthday, Manchester, exam results, friend's birthdays, photography project to finish and 90210 to watch - I've just started watching it for the very first time and I'm hooked!
Hope everyone is having a good summer and I PROMISE I will finally get something worth reading up when I'm home. I have a few planned in my head already...
See you soon!
