Summer's in the air and baby heaven's in your eyes

My 10 days in Greece was jam packed with beautiful views, amazing weather, delicious food and fantastic sunsets every evening. It was also full of massive mosquito bites, but that was the only downside. We were staying in the gorgeous little town of Acharavi on the island of Corfu, right by the beach and close to lots of attractions. The beach itself was shingles, but after enduring a few metres of painful pebbles the water is crystal clear and gorgeous soft sand underfoot.
Now I'm back at home and yearning for the hot weather, England may be having a heatwave but Scotland is definitely not! I have one last little 'holiday' to Manchester this summer then in the middle of August I start my last year at high school - scary stuff. I get my exam results in just under two weeks which I'm surprisingly not worried about, the last school year was pretty much a write off for me due to illness but I worked my butt off when it came to exams so I'm just proud of myself for managing to sit them considering that a few months before I'd been advised to take the rest of the year out!
I'm currently drooling over various pairs of flatforms that I plan to buy with my birthday money, I think they may possibly be my new obsession. Shoes are a definite guilty pleasure of mine, but I am convinced that my already tiny feet are shrinking!
Meanwhile, I'm off to remove a pesky fly from my room and watch Coco Before Chanel - got to love Tivo!

xoxo

It means so much to me that people take the time to comment, and I really appreciate each and every one. I try to reply to all of them but I am pretty forgetful, so if you have a burning question that you would like me to answer please drop me a tweet @colourscarousel or email me!
