under pressure

So for me the past couple of weeks have consisted of deadlines. Ew.
I have the deadline for my English folio next Monday, along with the first draft of my art essay which is due Thursday, and on top of that just tons of homework! I also have to choose the subjects I want to take at higher by next friday, I think I'm going to take english, fashion & textiles, business, travel & tourism and art, not completely sure yet though.
I don't really have anything interesting to post, I just felt bad for not blogging. After the majority of these deadlines are out of the way I will try get back into a decent routine! I still have my Eyeko post to do, I have all my photos I just need to physically write it.
I know this is really pointless but hey, I'm posting it.

Sunday Sum-Up

I felt like I should maybe try start a regular post on here, just to make sure I do always blog atleast once a week! Sunday's seem to be the day I have most time on, so I decided that most Sundays I'll do a little summary of the week, kind of.
So at the moment I'm just lazing in bed, dreading that monday morning feeling. I haven't done much today apart from... well nothing really.
This Wednesday I went back to school, nothing exciting really. Nice to see some people, not so nice to see others. I started reading The Lovely Bones and I'm in love with it, if it wasn't for school and homework I would have read it in one day! I don't particularly like school at the moment, I've realised how important this year really is for me. By June this year I will have sat my first official exams, and hopefully passed.
On Friday, the snow returned. It's not that bad this time, so I don't really mind. I spent the night at my boyfriend's watching rubbish DVDs and eating pizza, it was lovely. I was meant to go see The Tourist (yum, Johnny Depp.) on Saturday but I never got to in the end :( So I stayed in during the day then my boyfriend came over at night, we were "babysitting" my younger brother, he's 12. He just plays his Xbox all the time so we watched a couple of DVDs again after we'd made a yummy pasta bake, and messed about with my dad's (hopefully soon to be mine) camera.

he put a polo mint up my nose. lovely.

playing peek-a-boo <3
My Eyeko stuff also arrived so I'll hopefully get a chance to do a post on that sometime this week! Not really a very interesting post this week, so I'll finish up here with a picture of my box of hidden treats that I'm keeping under my bed, and one of my favourite gooey edibles! So glad the Creme Eggs are back.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening!

3 Jan 2011

Hello There, 2011.

I still can't believe it's 2011, it's going to to take me forever to get used to it!
I've not done much so far, just been having a lazy couple of days. I'm currently in bed watching Big Fat Quiz of the Year and doodling stuff for my new blog layout which I'll hopefully get up soon!
The sales for us have been quite bad clothes-wise. I can't find anything that I like in my size and vice versa, however I did snap up this and this along with a matching glass from the Cath Kidston sale, and a copy of The Sims 3: Ambitions. Along with that I've ordered two Mac eye shadows and one lipstick, two Models Own nail polishes, six Eyeko ones along with a Magic Mascara, all of which I can't wait to arrive! :)

Anyway, just got a quick wee post about my "daily face", as I said before I've ordered some new makeup and the stuff I currently have isn't too exciting, but it's good enough for my basic needs.

Miss Sporty "So Clear" concealer - Boots £3
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in 'Cameo' - £5
Avon Magix Face Perfector - £10

N.Y.C Liquid Eyeliner
wee cheap kohl pencil
Collection 2000 Big Fake Falsh Lash Effect mascara
Maybelline Great Lash mascara

the result, sorry the lighting was terrible!
So there's my basic makeup essentials, that Collection 2000 mascara is really amazing, one of the best false lash effect mascaras I've tried so far and it's pretty cheap! I'll just have to see how the Eyeko Magic Mascara compares, it's apparently really good!

My current obsession just now is Animal Crossing: City Folk, it's so much fun! Just look how cute my little character is with her mandarin hat! Since then I've had my hair updated and it's green with a block fringe (trendy!) and I'm also dressed up like a grape. So stylish ;)

So that's that for this post, I'm back at school on Wednesday and really not looking forward to it. I'm now off to continue drooling over Noel Fielding, tweeting, and trying not to bite my nails, I'm doing well so far!
